Too often, we compare someone else’s journey to ours and allow it to get us down. I am guilty of this myself, and too often let it suppress my spirits. Thankfully I have my partner to constantly remind me to look back and realise how far I’ve come in the past few years; all the physical and mental struggles I have encountered. It is a great reminder that your life is your journey and nobody else’s and that every obstacle that you encounter is a lesson that you will be grateful for later down the track.
