Happy New Year - Hello 2021!

My, my, my! It has been a busy few months for me that I haven’t hopped on here to update! I’ve just been a super busy bee. 🐝

The past month has flown by for me, in fact, this whole year! I’ve been flat out trying to keep my work/life/study/fitness/mental health/social life all in balance… But it’s really hard to do it all whilst staying sane! Anyone else agree?! 🤯

I am hoping that despite everything that has happened this year, that everyone can come together and learn to be kinder, more compassionate and considerate to one another.

With 2021 almost here… Here’s to hoping that next year will be a better year for us all! Happy New Year & Namaste!

October Mental Health Week 2020 (10th - 17th)

I am so grateful that I was offered to be a partner supporting October Mental Health Week with the SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience Centre. As both an individual and a business, I am committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our people and community. To successfully navigate life’s demands and challenges, continuing to build your resilience and support your mental health is key.

It is for this reason that we are promoting an important initiative for October Mental Health week with the SAHMRI Wellbeing and Resilience Centre who are offering their online mental health survey tool to individuals; the Be Well Tracker. The tool contributes to advancing important mental health research here in South Australia.

R U OK?

Today is R U OK? day.

It is a national day of action to remind us that every day is good as any other to check-in and ask someone, '“Are you OK?” if you sense that someone in your life is struggling or facing challenging circumstances.

I am such a strong advocate for mental health, having suffered the comorbidity of anxiety and depression myself; I am extremely grateful to my partner and friends who have always provided me with a listening ear or crying shoulder when in need.

With 2020 being a tough year for everyone, it is important for us all to stay connected with each other and be supportive of those around us.
